Detectives say the former coach worked across multiple jurisdictions and are searching for additional potential victims
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD – A former youth soccer coach who worked for private organizations across multiple jurisdictions is in custody after several boys between the ages of 10 and 15 reported alleged sexual misconduct, and Baltimore County detectives now believe there may be additional victims or witnesses who have not come forward.
Roberto Carlos Huezo Garcia, 30, has been charged with sexual abuse of a minor and sexual solicitation of a minor, Baltimore County Police announced Friday.

Detectives have been investigating Garcia since January, when police began receiving multiple reports of alleged sexual misconduct involving male juveniles.
The reported victims range in age from 10 to 15, according to police.
Detectives assigned to the Baltimore County Police Department’s Crimes Against Children Unit conducted what the department described as an extensive investigation into the allegations.
An arrest warrant was issued for Garcia in June.
Garcia was taken into custody this week, police said. The department did not disclose where the arrest occurred.
Police said Garcia coached soccer for multiple private organizations across several jurisdictions. The organizations and jurisdictions were not identified in the department’s announcement.
Garcia has been suspended from coaching since the allegations were reported.
Detectives are now trying to determine whether other potential victims or witnesses have yet to come forward.
Anyone with information regarding Garcia or the investigation is asked to contact the Baltimore County Police Department Crimes Against Children Unit at 410-887-7720.
Police did not release additional details about the allegations or specify how many juveniles have made reports.
