FREDERICK COUNTY, MD — Deputies on routine patrol in Frederick County uncovered four stolen Honda CR-Vs parked at the Monrovia Park N’ Ride, valued at more than $117,000.

The discovery was made on Thursday, Nov. 21, when a Frederick County Sheriff’s Office deputy spotted a suspiciously parked white Honda CR-V in the corner of the Baldwin Road lot. Upon investigation, the vehicle was confirmed stolen, and three similarly parked Honda CR-Vs nearby were also found to be stolen.

All four vehicles bore Delaware license plates and had been reported stolen from Middletown, Delaware. Authorities in Frederick County contacted the New Castle County Police Department to inform them of the recovered cars.

The vehicles were towed for safekeeping and are awaiting retrieval by their owners, while the investigation into the thefts remains ongoing.
