Freddys Frozen Custard Steakburgers opens first Delaware location in Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, Del. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opens its first Delaware restaurant on Wednesday, January 14, at 645 S. Ridge Road in Middletown. A ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Middletown Area Chamber of Commerce is scheduled for Wednesday, January 21, at 10:30 a.m.

As part of its grand opening celebration, local nonprofit Warriors Helping Warriors will receive 10 percent of all regular and large-sized frozen custard treat sales through February 13.

“We feel thrilled to open our first Freddy’s in Delaware and to reach new guests who haven’t yet tried our concept,” said franchise owner Jason Ingermanson. “Our commitment to serving high-quality, cooked-to-order food and providing exceptional hospitality is at the heart of everything we do, and we can’t wait to become a part of the community.”

The 2,901-square-foot freestanding restaurant seats 76 guests, includes additional patio seating, and features a drive-thru. Customers can also place mobile orders through the Freddy’s app or website.

Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
