MASSILLON, Ohio — A lucky lottery player walked away with a $20,000 prize after purchasing a winning VIP Millions scratch-off ticket at a Speedway in Massillon, the Ohio Lottery announced Wednesday.

Big win at Lincoln Way E gas station

The winning ticket was purchased at Speedway #3628, located at 3601 Lincoln Way East in Massillon. The VIP Millions scratch-off, which costs $50 to play, offers top prizes of $40,000 a year for 25 years and other significant cash rewards.

After the required 28 percent in federal and state tax deductions, the player will take home an estimated $14,400.

As of April 9, 40 top prizes remain in the VIP Millions game, part of the Ohio Lottery’s premium scratch-off lineup. The Lottery continues to emphasize its contribution to state education programs, having provided more than $33 billion in support since 1974.
