Giant Eagle customer snags six-figure Pennsylvania Lottery win

Winning Cash 5 ticket worth $200K sold at Giant Eagle in Allegheny County

Moon Township, PA – One lucky Pennsylvania Lottery player is holding a $200,000 jackpot-winning ticket from Tuesday night’s Cash 5 with Quick Cash drawing, sold at a Giant Eagle supermarket in Allegheny County.

The winning ticket matched all five numbers drawn — 5, 11, 24, 33, and 41 — to claim the full jackpot prize before taxes. It was sold at the Giant Eagle located at 5990 University Boulevard in Moon Township. The retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

As of Wednesday, the prize remains unclaimed. Lottery officials will not identify the winner until the ticket is validated and the prize is formally claimed.

The main Cash 5 jackpot prize must be claimed within one year of the drawing date. Players are reminded that all Quick Cash prizes must also be claimed within one year of the ticket’s purchase.

In addition to the jackpot winner, more than 8,100 other tickets won prizes in Tuesday’s draw. The Pennsylvania Lottery encourages players to check all tickets carefully and redeem lower-tier prizes at authorized retailers.

This marks another significant win for western Pennsylvania and comes amid a string of recent high-value lottery payouts across the state.
