Hudson County player wins $22 million jackpot with app-ordered ticket

Hudson County player lands $22 million Pick-6 prize in record-breaking digital ticket win

Trenton, NJ – A Hudson County lottery player struck gold Saturday night with a $22 million Pick-6 jackpot, marking the largest win ever in New Jersey from a lottery ticket ordered through a digital courier service.

The ticket, fulfilled using the Jackpocket app, matched all six winning numbers—06, 07, 13, 15, 36, and 45—making it the second-largest Pick-6 prize of the year and a historic first for the state’s rapidly growing courier ticket market.

New Jersey remains a national leader in lottery innovation, becoming the first state to regulate and license lottery courier services in 2016. Jackpocket, the first approved courier under that law, continues to see widespread adoption across the state. The app is currently operational in 15 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.

The $22 million win joins a list of major jackpots paid out by New Jersey’s Pick-6 game in recent months. Other top-tier wins include a $32 million prize in Ocean County in January, $5.5 million in Union County in March, and $5.9 million in Essex County in May.

This Hudson County win follows a May Cash 4 Life drawing that awarded $7 million to a player in Union Township. All five of New Jersey’s largest jackpot wins this year have occurred during the third week of their respective months.

The identity of the latest jackpot winner has not yet been released. Under New Jersey law, winners have the right to remain anonymous.

The largest Pick-6 jackpot ever recorded in New Jersey was a $48.9 million prize won in 2001 in Clifton, Passaic County. The latest win solidifies 2025 as one of the most active years for high-value lottery payouts in the state’s history.
