ROSELLE, NJ—A car chase culminating in a gunfire exchange led to the arrest of an 18-year-old Linden resident, Rood Theluscat.
The incident occurred on May 20 at the intersection of East Seventh Avenue and Walnut Street. Following the chase, one of the vehicles involved crashed on East Sixth Avenue, prompting Theluscat to flee on foot with a firearm in hand.
He was apprehended shortly after, and a gun was recovered at the scene.
Theluscat faces charges, including possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. A second suspect involved in the incident fled the scene and remains at large.
