TOMS RIVER, N.J. — A man has been detained in Ocean County without bail after being charged with multiple counts of burglary and theft, according to court and jail records.

Marco Antonio Rodriguez-Perez, 54, was booked into custody on Wednesday and faces charges under New Jersey statutes for burglary and theft by unlawful taking. Court documents indicate that the charges include three counts of burglary under N.J.S.A. 2C:18-2A(1) and two counts of theft by unlawful taking under N.J.S.A. 2C:20-3, involving both movable and immovable property.

Rodriguez-Perez is being held without bail on case number w20240000671530, which remains open. In addition to the criminal charges, he is subject to detainers filed by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Wall Township Municipal Court.
