Jackson Township sophomore dominates Brick Bowling Tournament with 288 high game, 780 series

JACKSON TWP., NJ – Jackson Memorial High School sophomore Michael Fogarty continued his breakout season on the lanes, posting a 288 high game and 780 series to lead all scorers at the Brick Bowling Tournament. The performance marks the fourth time this season that the young standout has recorded a three-game set of 750 or better — a rare feat in New Jersey high school bowling.

Fogarty’s consistency and precision have made him one of the Shore Conference’s top bowlers, helping anchor Jackson’s varsity squad in tournament and dual-match play. His near-perfect 288 game came amid a strong field of competitors from across the region, further solidifying his reputation as one of the most promising underclassmen in the state.

Coaches credited Fogarty’s focus and discipline for his sustained success, noting that his string of high series scores reflects both his technical skill and composure under pressure. With postseason competition approaching, he is expected to be a major contender for individual honors at the county and state levels.
