JACKSONVILLE, NC – On November 26, 2019 Donald Shaquan Miller aka “Moo-Moo,” 32-years-old of Lee Road in Maple Hill was arrested for distributing narcotics throughout Onslow and Pender Counties. At the time of his arrest, investigators found a variety of narcotic-based pain pills on his person. Outstanding federal indictments were served on Miller and a search warrant was served at his residence on Lee Road, Maple Hill. During the search, investigators seized (17) firearms, 1,180 grams of crystal meth, 391 grams of heroin and $33,822 in US currency. Four of the guns recovered were confirmed to have been stolen; one from Duplin County, two from Onslow County and one from Jacksonville.
The investigation began approximately three years ago by the Onslow County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Unit with the undercover purchases of meth, cocaine and heroin from associates of Miller. Additional agencies that assisted with the investigation included the NC State Bureau of Investigation, Federal Bureau of Investigation Safe Streets Unit-Wilmington Field Office and the Pender County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division.
Miller was sentenced to 180 months (15 years) on December 1, 2020 by Federal Judge Terrance Boyle for the following charges:
Felony Conspiracy – Title 21, US Code, Section 846
(3) Counts of Distribution of Crack Cocaine, US Code, Section 841(a)(1)
Distribution of Heroin, Title 21, US Code, Section 841(a)(1)
