Joe Biden Says He Has Cancer; Staff Later Clarifies Statement

President Joe Biden has cancer. The President made the claim this week in an effort to derail the oil industry and oil refineries in his home state of Delaware.

“That’s why I, and so damn many other people I grew up with have cancer and why for the longest time Delaware had the highest cancer rate in the nation,” Biden said.

On Thursday Biden was diagnosed with COVID-19.

Biden’s White House press staff quickly clarified that the President does not currently have cancer, but has had non-melanoma skin cancers removed in the past.

“It is well-established that President Biden did spend a good deal of time in the sun in his youth,”  said the President’s Physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, about the time he worked as a lifeguard. During that period, he had his famous interactions with Corn Pop and black children who were amazed at his leg hairs.

“He has had several localized, non-melanoma skin cancers removed with Mohs surgery before he started his presidency. These lesions were completely excised, with clear margins,” O’Connor added.

The President does not currently suffer from cancer. It is unknown why he chose to use the present tense when talking about his past skin cancer issues. Those cancers were, according to his doctor caused by sun exposure and not exposure to oil refinery pollution.
