Juvenile shot in ankle detected by shot-spotter in baltimore

Baltimore, MD — A juvenile male was hospitalized after being shot in the ankle Monday evening in Baltimore’s Western District, police said.

Officers responded to the 500 block of Wilson Street at approximately 5:47 p.m. after a shot-spotter alert detected gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, they found the unidentified juvenile suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, according to police.
