Greenwood man arrested for two knife-point robberies in Milford
Milford, DE — A Greenwood man is in custody after being linked to a string of violent knife-point robberies at two Milford businesses, according to the Delaware State Police.
Troopers arrested 29-year-old Terrell Boyce following a joint investigation with the Dover Police Department. Authorities say Boyce is responsible for two separate robberies in Milford that took place on September 14 and September 19.
The first incident occurred on September 14 around 1:30 p.m. at a business located on Shawnee Road. Investigators say Boyce jumped over the counter, pulled a knife, and demanded an employee open the cash register. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. Two employees and a customer were inside the store at the time, but no one was injured.
The second robbery happened five days later, on the evening of September 19, at a convenience store on Bay Road. In that incident, Boyce allegedly entered the store, brandished a knife, and ordered the clerk to open the register. He escaped with cash and cigars.
Detectives later connected Boyce to both Milford robberies as well as a separate robbery in the City of Dover. A warrant was obtained, and Boyce was arrested without incident by Dover Police on September 21.
He was transported to Delaware State Police Troop 3, where he was formally charged with multiple felonies.
Boyce faces the following charges:
- Robbery 1st Degree – Display What Appears to be a Deadly Weapon (2 counts)
- Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony (2 counts)
- Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony (2 counts)
He was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 7 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $110,000 cash bond.
