Lakewood Woman Arrested for DUI

WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ – Wall Township Police have reported recent arrests involving outstanding warrants and intoxicated driving offenses.

Patrolman David Smithman arrested 57-year-old Gladys Decos of Lakewood after the Wall Township Municipal Court issued two warrants for her arrest. Decos was transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institution for processing.

In a separate incident, Patrolman Orin McKay arrested 34-year-old Douglas L. McDonnell of Ocean Township for driving while intoxicated. The arrest occurred on Route 35 and Ocean Road.

McDonnell was processed and released in accordance with John’s Law, which allows for the temporary impoundment of vehicles when drivers are arrested under suspicion of DUI.

These incidents underscore Wall Township Police’s ongoing efforts to address legal violations and maintain public safety on local roadways.
