KINGSTON, N.Y. — A lucky lottery player in the Hudson Valley is holding a winning TAKE 5 ticket after the May 14 midday drawing delivered another prize hit in New York.

Lottery officials said the winning ticket worth $9,355 was sold at Cheekam Mart Inc., located at 625 Broadway in Kingston.

TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39, with drawings held daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

Officials said players have up to one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.

The New York Lottery said it contributed $3.6 billion during fiscal year 2024-2025 to support public schools across the state.
