MANASSAS, Va. — A 42-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday after police investigated a domestic dispute that occurred on September 9 in the 7800 block of West Point Court, authorities said.

According to the investigation, the incident began as a verbal altercation between the victim, a 35-year-old woman, and the suspect, identified as Pedro Manuel Labrador. The dispute escalated when Labrador allegedly grabbed the victim’s arms and prevented her from leaving the room. The parties eventually separated, and the victim sustained minor injuries.

Following the investigation, police obtained arrest warrants for Labrador, who turned himself in on September 12. He has been charged with abduction and domestic assault and battery.

Labrador is being held without bond, and his court date is pending.
