SCHENECTADY, NY – Police are treating the death of a 42-year-old man found in a Hamilton Hill neighborhood home as a homicide.
On Sunday morning, officers responded to multiple reports of gunfire around 6:49 a.m. near 764 State St., close to Grove Place.
They discovered the man’s body on the building’s second floor, showing clear signs of gunshot wounds.
Authorities have withheld the victim’s identity until his next of kin are informed. As of now, no suspect information has been released.
