Man sought for lewd act on Brooklyn bus, police say

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Police are searching for a man who allegedly exposed himself and performed a lewd act in front of a teenage girl on an MTA bus in Downtown Brooklyn Friday morning, authorities said.

The incident happened around 9:35 a.m. on December 19 as a 17-year-old girl rode a B62 bus approaching Jay Street and Tillary Street, according to police. The suspect allegedly exposed himself and committed a lewd act before getting off the bus and fleeing on foot in an unknown direction.

No injuries were reported, and the victim alerted police shortly after the encounter.

The suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black hat, black pants, and black sneakers. He was also carrying a green backpack.
