Off-duty NYPD maintenance worker arrested for DWI in the Bronx

BRONX, N.Y. – An off-duty New York City Police Department maintenance worker was arrested early Saturday morning in the Bronx and charged with driving while intoxicated, authorities said.

Police identified the employee as Nekeshon Nedd, 35, who was taken into custody at approximately 7:22 a.m. on December 20 within the confines of the 44th Precinct.

The NYPD confirmed that Nedd faces one count of driving while intoxicated. No additional details regarding the incident were immediately released.

The department said the case is under internal review, as is standard procedure following the arrest of any NYPD employee.
