BALTIMORE, MD — Maryland Lottery players celebrated big wins last week, with four scratch-off prizes worth between $100,000 and $250,000 claimed in Annapolis, Gaithersburg, Lanham, and Oxon Hill. These wins were the largest in the state over the week of Oct. 21-27, when more than $30.6 million in prizes was paid out statewide.

In addition to these high-value scratch-off prizes, Maryland saw 27 other tickets worth $10,000 or more sold or redeemed during the week. Two Powerball players in Laurel and Oakland each won $50,000, even as the Powerball jackpot was claimed in Georgia.

As the Mega Millions jackpot climbs to an estimated $250 million for the Oct. 29 drawing, Maryland saw a $10,000 Mega Millions prize awarded last week to a player in College Park.

The Maryland Lottery reminds players to sign the backs of their tickets, keep them secure, and claim prizes within 182 days of the drawing or purchase date, depending on the game type.
