Monmouth County DWI Task Force DWI Checkpoint This Weekend

Monmouth County, NJ — The Monmouth County DWI Task Force will conduct two DWI checkpoints this upcoming weekend.

The first checkpoint will be held from 9:00 PM on Friday, July 26, through 1:00 AM on Saturday, July 27, in Deal. During this time, all northbound vehicles on Ocean Avenue will be diverted into the Deal Casino parking lot, where drivers will be screened for sobriety.

The second checkpoint will take place from 9:00 PM on Saturday, July 27, through 1:00 AM on Sunday, July 28, in Spring Lake Heights. At this checkpoint, all southbound vehicles on Route 71 will be diverted at Passaic Avenue, where drivers will be screened for sobriety.

Officers from the local municipalities will collaborate with Task Force members during both checkpoints to ensure compliance and enhance road safety.
