Montgomery County man lands second huge lottery payout

Olney, Md. — A Montgomery County man is celebrating his second major Racetrax win after hitting a $46,849.50 prize on a Trifecta Wheel bet.

The anonymous winner, who goes by the nickname “Double the Fun,” previously won more than $30,000 in 2022 by consistently betting on long-odds horses numbered 10, 11, and 12. On March 6, he placed his latest winning bet at Olney Beer & Wine on Village Center Drive.

Thinking it might be his last try, he purchased a 15-draw ticket and checked the results in his car, where he was stunned to see his numbers hit.

The winner plans to put some of the money into savings and share with his daughter and grandchildren, with a seafood celebration in the works. The retailer will receive a $468.49 bonus for selling the lucky ticket.
