Silver Spring man succumbed to his injuries after collision at Cherry Hill Road and Sellman Road
BELTSVILLE, MD — A 43-year-old Silver Spring man died after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck Saturday morning in Beltsville, prompting an investigation by the Prince George’s County Police Department.
The crash happened at approximately 10:35 a.m. Saturday, July 25, at the intersection of Cherry Hill Road and Sellman Road.
Police identified the motorcyclist as Monday Williams, 43, of Silver Spring. He was taken to a hospital for treatment, where he died later that evening.
The driver of the pickup truck was not injured, according to police.
Investigators with the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit are working to determine what led to the collision. No additional details about the circumstances of the crash have been released.
