PENN HILLS, PA – Allegheny County Police were alerted to a shooting on Thon Drive at around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday night.
Upon arrival, first responders found a 41-year-old woman with multiple gunshot wounds and a 50-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the woman was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition.
Investigators have determined that the incident was an attempted murder-suicide.
