TRENTON, NJ – New Jersey motorists are getting a rare break at the pump this week, as average fuel prices across the state dropped to some of the lowest levels seen in months. According to GasBuddy’s latest data, several stations are now offering regular unleaded for under $2.50 a gallon, with the cheapest price reported at $2.49.
The most affordable gas was found at Gas and Diesel in Absecon, which listed regular at $2.49 per gallon, updated just 23 hours ago. Close behind, Conoco in Bradley Beach and Exxon in the same area both posted prices of $2.51. Membership-based retailers are also helping to drive down costs, with BJ’s in Freehold selling at $2.54 and Costco in Bayonne reporting $2.55.
