New Jersey police seek public’s help identifying woman linked to abused dog found in dumpster

LINDENWOLD, N.J. — The Lindenwold Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman connected to a disturbing animal cruelty case involving a severely injured dog found in a trash bag.

In March, officers responded to the Belmont Apartments at 2009 White Horse Pike after receiving a report of a dog discovered in a dumpster. Police said the small white dog was still alive but in critical condition—malnourished and suffering from multiple severe injuries.

The woman pictured in surveillance images shared by police is being sought as a person of interest in the investigation.

The investigation remains active as police work to determine who is responsible for the abuse and abandonment of the animal.
