Sunday promises bright sunshine but no significant warm-up, with a high near 26 degrees. Winds will calm further, settling to 5 to 10 mph out of the northwest, offering some respite from today’s breezy conditions. Sunday night will be exceptionally cold, as temperatures plummet to around 5 degrees under mostly clear skies. Winds will be light, blowing gently from the north at around 5 mph.
Compared to typical December weather, this weekend’s temperatures are well below average for New Jersey, with highs generally reaching the low 40s and lows hovering around the mid-20s this time of year.
