The coalition says it is responding to Trump’s second-term policies, which critics argue have eroded civil liberties and targeted vulnerable communities. Among their concerns: immigration enforcement tactics, voting restrictions, healthcare rollbacks and the handling of gun violence.
“No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings,” reads the movement’s rallying cry, which leaders describe as a call to defend democracy and keep power in the hands of the people.
