NEW YORK, NY – Filip Chytil of the New York Rangers experienced another setback just a day after returning to practice following his recovery from a suspected concussion sustained in November. During an optional skate at Madison Square Garden before the Rangers’ upcoming game against the Golden Knights, Chytil was down on the ice for several minutes and required assistance to leave.
The incident, which occurred this morning, saw Chytil needing help from teammates Zac Jones and Jake Leschyshyn and the Rangers training staff. The specifics of what happened to Chytil are not yet clear, but the situation appeared serious as he was helped off the ice.
