OCEAN COUNTY, N.J. — Arturo Dayan Barraza Lopez was booked into the Ocean County jail on Monday, charged with resisting arrest, obstruction of justice, and criminal mischief.

According to court documents, Barraza Lopez, 30, faces multiple charges, including resisting arrest with violence under New Jersey statute 2C:29-2A(1), obstruction of the administration of law under 2C:29-1A, and criminal mischief involving property damage under 2C:17-3A(1). The criminal mischief charge is a third-degree offense, while the other charges are classified as fourth-degree crimes.

Barraza Lopez’s bond status is divided between two cases. For one case, he is being held without bail, with the bond type listed as “no bail” and status marked “open.” For the second case, a cash bond of $750 was set, but records show no payment has yet been posted.

His commitment date is listed as December 10, with no projected release date available at this time.
