PASADENA, Md. — Seven businesses in Pasadena were burglarized early Monday morning, prompting a police pursuit that ended with one arrest and two suspects still at large, Anne Arundel County police said.
At approximately 1:30 a.m. on December 9, officers responded to a commercial burglary at Kings Cleaners on Jumpers Hole Road. Investigators soon discovered that neighboring businesses, including Beauty Nails and Pizza Hut, as well as four other locations nearby, had also been targeted.
Surveillance footage from the Pasadena Crossroads Shopping Center identified a suspect vehicle, a black Dodge Charger with black wheels, which officers later spotted in Glen Burnie. When officers attempted a traffic stop, the driver fled, initiating a pursuit through I-97, MD 100, and Route 295, before the vehicle became disabled near Powder Mill Road in Prince George’s County.
Three suspects fled on foot, but officers apprehended one, identified as 26-year-old Kendall Demarius Walton of Washington, D.C. Police recovered a stolen .45 caliber Glock handgun from the scene and determined the vehicle and its license plate had both been reported stolen. Walton, who is prohibited from possessing firearms, faces charges related to the burglary spree, firearm possession, and stolen property.
The remaining two suspects, described as males aged 20 to 25, remain at large. Police are urging anyone with information to contact Eastern District detectives at 410-222-6145 or submit tips via the department’s tip line.
