North Royalton man hits $130K Rolling Cash 5 jackpot with family birthday numbers

North Royalton, OH – A North Royalton man turned a set of sentimental numbers into a $130,001 jackpot after winning the Rolling Cash 5 drawing on January 15 by matching all five numbers — each tied to family birthdays and anniversaries he’s played for years.

The winning combination — 8, 10, 17, 23, and 28 — earned him the full jackpot in the nightly Ohio Lottery draw. After 26.75% in state and federal taxes, his payout amounts to $95,225.73. The winner, who has not been publicly named, told officials he plans to share the winnings with his family.

He bought the lucky ticket at Marc’s #41, located at 16224 Pearl Road in Strongsville.
