PARAMUS, N.J. — A Paramus man has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child and simple assault, according to an announcement by Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella. Christopher Del Savio, 56, was arrested following an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Paramus Police Department.
The investigation began after the Division of Child Protection and Permanency contacted the Special Victims Unit of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office on Friday, Sept. 13, regarding allegations of child abuse. Authorities determined that Del Savio physically abused two juveniles under the age of 14 in Paramus.
The investigation was conducted under the direction of Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Chief Matthew Finck and Paramus Police Chief Robert Guidetti. Del Savio faces charges of endangering the welfare of a child and simple assault.
