Pedestrian killed after being struck by SUV on Telegraph Road in Severn

SEVERN, Md. – A woman was killed Tuesday evening after being hit by a Ford Bronco while crossing Telegraph Road near Denson Drive.

The crash happened around 6:55 p.m. when the northbound SUV struck the pedestrian as she attempted to cross from the median.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel, and her identity has not yet been determined.

Detectives are seeking help from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information that could assist in identifying the victim.
