MIDDLETOWN, PA — A Pennsylvania Lottery player in Philadelphia won a $274,327 top prize on Sunday from the Fast Play game Break the Ice, officials announced.

The winning $10 ticket was sold at 7-Eleven, located at 2300 South Broad Street. The retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the prize-winning ticket.

Break the Ice is a progressive Fast Play game that starts with a $125,000 top prize and increases with each ticket sold until it’s won. Fast Play tickets print instantly at sales terminals or touchscreen vending machines and do not require scratching or waiting for a draw.

Players are encouraged to check their tickets using a retailer scanner or the Ticket Checker feature on the Lottery’s official app. Winners should sign the back of their tickets immediately and contact the Lottery at 1-800-692-7481 for instructions on how to claim their prize.

All prizes over $5,000 are subject to withholding, and Fast Play winnings must be claimed within one year of purchase. The identity of the winner has not yet been released.
