Philadelphia migrant fugitive wanted for child sexual abuse deported from U.S.

PHILADELPHIA – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Philadelphia removed Malky Antonio Cabrera Vasquez, 29, a Spanish citizen, to Spain on Jan. 15 following a final order of removal. Cabrera is wanted by Spanish authorities for sexual abuse of a minor.

Cabrera entered the United States on Feb. 19, 2021, through New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport on a temporary visa set to expire on May 19, 2021. U.S. Customs and Border Protection admitted him for the temporary period, but he remained in the country past his authorized stay.

ERO Philadelphia apprehended Cabrera during an enforcement operation on July 24, 2024, and subsequently issued him a final administrative removal order. He was detained at the Moshannon Valley Processing Center in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania, until his deportation.

“Removing Malky Antonio Cabrera Vasquez is a critical action in our mission to protect the American public,” said ERO Philadelphia Acting Field Office Director Brian McShane. “The safety of our communities is paramount, and we will continue to prioritize the removal of individuals who pose a threat to public safety.”

Cabrera was returned to Spain, where he is expected to face legal proceedings for the charges filed against him.
