Police Arrest Atlantic City Mother And Son Who Operated Marijuana Edible Operation

Atlantic City, NJ – The Atlantic City Police Department has arrested a mother and son, recovering four firearms and a significant quantity of marijuana-laced food items.

On July 3, detectives from the Special Investigations Section concluded a month-long investigation into narcotics distribution from a residence in the 500 block of North Indiana Avenue. Jasmehir Belle, the target of the investigation, was detained upon exiting the residence. A court-authorized search warrant was then executed.

During the search, detectives found four handguns, including a ghost gun and a stolen firearm from Egg Harbor Township, NJ in 2023. They also seized large amounts of marijuana, suspected THC oils, and paraphernalia used to manufacture edible marijuana foods, with over 180 assorted edibles packaged for street sale.

In addition to Jasmehir Belle, detectives arrested his mother, Tamiya Belle. The investigation was led by Detective Troy Grams.
