Police Arrest Baltimore Man Connected to Friday Shooting

BALTIMORE, MD — Northeast District patrol officers in Baltimore were dispatched to the 6900 block of Moyer Avenue last Friday at approximately 12:27 p.m. following reports of gunfire.

Upon reaching the scene, officers found evidence of a shooting, although no victims were discovered. After gathering a suspect description, authorities successfully arrested 50-year-old Scott Brooks on Monday.

The investigation revealed that Brooks had fired at a 22-year-old male during a dispute in the same location. Following his arrest, detectives transported Brooks to the Central Booking Intake Facility.

He has been charged with attempted 1st-degree murder. The arrest marks a significant development in the case from last week’s incident.
