Multi-county wanted suspect taken into custody

Crozet, VA — A traffic stop targeting a wanted individual escalated into a vehicle pursuit and foot chase before ending in an arrest Thursday evening.

The incident began around 7:08 p.m. April 30 on Lanetown Road when Albemarle County Police attempted to stop a vehicle connected to a wanted person. The driver failed to yield, prompting officers to initiate a pursuit.

The suspect was identified as 41-year-old Jonathan A. Iseman of Crozet.

Authorities said Iseman was wanted in multiple jurisdictions, including Augusta County, Rockbridge County, and Waynesboro for felony probation violations, as well as in Charlottesville for failure to appear on a breaking and entering charge.
