Police identify victim in deadly Delaware roadway tragedy

Maryland man identified after deadly crash in Felton as troopers continue investigation

FELTON, DE — Delaware State Police have identified the man killed in a fatal crash in Felton over the weekend as 80-year-old Dennis Giles of Goldsboro, Maryland.

The deadly collision happened Sunday and remains under investigation by the Delaware State Police Troop 3 Collision Reconstruction Unit.

Authorities have not yet released additional details surrounding the circumstances of the crash.

Investigators are continuing to gather evidence and speak with witnesses as they work to determine exactly what led to the fatal collision.

Troopers are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or may have information related to the investigation to contact Master Corporal W. Booth at 302-698-8451.
