The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office is now investigating an incident involving Lakewood Police Chief Greg Meyer's Twitter Account.

LAKEWOOD, NJ – Lakewood Township Police Chief Greg Meyer said his Twitter account must have been hacked after posts deemed offensive to liberal America were found on his account.

The Chief’s account “Greg” @Greg_Meyer_LKWD railed against President Joe Biden, illegal immigration, and big tech censorship.

“Good morning Twitter who you gonna censor today?” one post from November 2020 read.

Another, in October, read, “Biden is an angry old man. Go back to your basement we’re doing ok without you. 47 years of wasted time in politics for sure.”

The account used hashtags for #TwitterCensorship, #TruthSeekers, #Trump2020Landslide, #Trump2020 and others.

On September 1st, Meyers’ account posted, “Fuck Joe Biden.”

The account was deleted shortly after the township was contacted by the local GateHouse Media newspaper.

Now, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer says he is investigating the incident.

“This matter is currently under review by this office. We were made aware of the posting(s) yesterday,” Billhimer said.
