Queens woman 45 vanishes after leaving home before dawn

QUEENS, NY – A 45-year-old woman from Flushing has been reported missing after she was last seen leaving her home early Friday morning.

Annie Wu, who lives at 153-14 Peck Avenue, was last observed around 5 a.m. on Friday, according to police.

Authorities say Wu has not been seen or heard from since leaving the residence, and her disappearance is now under active investigation.

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding her.

Police ask for help locating missing woman

Wu is described as an Asian female, about 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds, with a medium build, light complexion, brown eyes, and black hair.

At the time she went missing, she was wearing a gray jacket, orange pants, and tan slippers.

Detectives from the 109th Precinct are canvassing the area and reviewing surveillance footage in hopes of tracing Wu’s last known movements.

Police have not indicated whether foul play is suspected.

Community urged to report any sightings

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Annie Wu is urged to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or submit tips online at crimestoppers.nypdonline.org.
