Repeat DUI offender busted again on Delaware highway

Harrington, DE – A late-night traffic stop on South Dupont Highway ended with a Seaford man in custody after troopers determined he was allegedly driving under the influence for the sixth time, according to Delaware State Police.

Marrco Bryant, 44, was arrested Friday at approximately 11:00 p.m. after a trooper observed a Ford F-150 traveling southbound near Williamsville Road with an equipment violation. The stop led to Bryant’s arrest on a felony DUI charge and additional offenses.

Troopers reported that upon contact, Bryant showed several signs of impairment. He was asked to perform Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and displayed additional indicators of impairment. He was taken into custody without incident.

A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of empty bottles of alcohol. A computer check revealed Bryant’s driver’s license was suspended and that he had five prior DUI convictions, elevating the current charge to a sixth offense felony Delaware State Police case.
