Masked gunman snags cash in Brooklyn holdup

Brooklyn, NY – A gunman walked into a neighborhood business on Ocean Avenue Saturday afternoon, displayed a firearm and left with cash in a robbery that has investigators searching for answers in the city’s 61st Precinct.

The incident occurred on February 7, 2026, at approximately 4:16 p.m., when an unidentified individual entered a commercial establishment at 3121 Ocean Avenue and approached a 22-year-old female employee, according to the NYPD.

The suspect displayed a firearm and demanded money. The employee complied, handing over approximately $100. The individual then fled the location southbound on Ocean Avenue. No injuries were reported.
