Report: Woman Lied to Police About Stolen Vehicle After Crash in Lakewood

JACKSON- On October 6th, Police officer Jeff Henba took a spoke with a 21 year old female resident of Delaware Trail at police headquarters who reported that her vehicle had been stolen from her residence. The investigation determined that the female had crashed the vehicle in Lakewood the previous evening and left the vehicle because her driver’s license was suspended. She was charged with filing a false report and released on summons pending a court appearance.
