BRICK TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Former Brick Township Police Officer Anthony Barlowski, badge #53, has died, the department announced, marking the loss of a long-serving officer who dedicated nearly a quarter-century to the community.
Barlowski joined the Brick Township Police Department on July 26, 1976, and retired on November 30, 2000. During his 24 years of service, he was known for his commitment to public safety and was respected by both his colleagues and township residents.
“We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him,” the department said in a statement. “Officer Barlowski was not only a valued member of our department but also a beloved colleague and friend.”

A public viewing will be held Monday, July 7, at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow Tuesday, July 8, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Visitation Church on Mantoloking Road, with a ceremony at 11:30 a.m. at Arneytown Veterans Cemetery.
