Robbery at Christiana Mall, Police Say Suspects All Teenagers

NEWARK, DE – The Delaware State Police are actively investigating a robbery incident that took place at the Christiana Mall’s Food Court.

The event occurred on the evening of December 22, with troopers being notified the following day. According to the investigation, the incident happened around 9:12 p.m. at the Christiana Mall Food Court, located at 100 Christiana Mall, Newark. The victim, a teenager, was leaving the mall through the food court when he was confronted by two unidentified suspects. The suspects assaulted the victim by punching and kicking him before seizing his shopping bag and fleeing the scene.

The suspects are currently described only as teenagers.
