Community event at RCC fieldhouse connects residents with local services and youth resources.
SUFFERN, NY – Families gathered Sunday at the Rockland Community College Fieldhouse as the 2026 Rockland County Youth Fest brought together county agencies, community groups, and residents for a day focused on outreach and youth engagement. Among those in attendance were Rockland County District Attorney Tom Walsh, Chief Assistant District Attorney Dominic Crispino, and members of the District Attorney’s Office.
The event created space for families to interact directly with agencies offering services and programs for young people, while also giving officials an opportunity to explain their roles in the community. The District Attorney’s Office said the day was centered on building connections and sharing information with residents.
Community engagement and youth outreach
“This past Sunday, Rockland County District Attorney Tom Walsh, Chief Assistant District Attorney Dominic Crispino, and staff were proud to be part of the 2026 Rockland County Youth Fest at the Rockland Community College Fieldhouse,” the office said in a statement.
“It was a day filled with energy, connection, and something for everyone in the family,” the statement continued. “We loved having the opportunity to meet so many residents, answer questions, and share more about the important work we do.”
Organizers brought together multiple county departments and organizations to provide resources aimed at youth development, safety, and education. The District Attorney’s Office emphasized its role in helping inform young residents about available services.
Partnerships across county agencies
“Proud to work with other county agencies and groups to inform the young people of Rockland of the programs and services available to them,” the office said.
The event also served as a networking opportunity for agencies to collaborate and strengthen partnerships focused on community support.
“Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and helped make this day such a success!” the statement added.
