The cases involved a police officer whose personal firearm was stolen after being left in a vehicle, a police recruit who resigned following an out-of-state DUI arrest, and another officer suspended over off-duty social media conduct.

Officer suspended after firearm theft

Police Officer Nasir Cole received a 30-day suspension after an internal investigation found he negligently stored his personal firearm in his personal vehicle while off duty.

According to the report, the firearm was stolen after being left in the vehicle. Although Cole reported the theft, investigators found that he failed to complete required departmental notifications within the required timeframe.

The sustained charge was listed as a departmental rule violation. Cole was not terminated or demoted.

Recruit resigned after DUI arrest

The report also identifies Police Officer Recruit Sabria Glasgow, who resigned in lieu of termination after being arrested for driving under the influence in Maryland.

The sustained charge was listed as off-duty DUI/DWI.

According to the report, Glasgow resigned before disciplinary action could be imposed.

Officer disciplined for online conduct

Police Officer Bryant Olivo received a 10-day suspension after an internal investigation determined that his off-duty social media activity violated department policy.

According to the report, Olivo participated in online relationships while using another person’s likeness, conduct investigators concluded negatively affected several individuals.

The sustained charge was listed as conduct unbecoming and bringing discredit upon the agency.

None of the three cases involved allegations of misconduct while performing law enforcement duties on campus.
