Authorities are asking for the public’s help after two dogs were found wandering near a busy Schenectady roadway and taken to a local humane society.

According to police, the dogs were located Wednesday in the area of 1773 State Street.

After being recovered, the animals were taken to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, where they are currently being cared for while officials attempt to locate their owners.
